Before we start – what is a podcast?
A podcast is a digital audio file just like a song or voice recording. These digital audio files are made available on the Internet for downloading to your desktop computer or smartphone, typically available as a series (like episodes of a tv show).
Step 1
Determine Which Kind of Device you Have
The instructions to listen to episodes of Pondercast are different depending on the device you'd like to use so our first step is to figure out what type of device you have. The following are the most popular types of devices and how to tell which one you have.
Apple smartphone
If your device has an apple on the back, you're using an iPhone or iPad. The instructions for these two devices is the same.
Android smartphone
If your device doesn't have an apple on the back, you're using an android device. They come in many shapes and colours.
Apple Desktop
If your desktop computer has an apple on the back, you're using an Macbook or an iMac. The instructions for these two computers is the same.
Windows Desktop
If your desktop doesn't have an apple on the back, you're using an Windows desktop. They come in many shapes and colours.

If you’re not a fan of downloading or using apps, you can listen to Pondercast using a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.

Listen to the Podcast
Listen to the podcast using an app
Open your podcast app
Locate the search bar
Type in ‘Pondercast’
Select an episode and hit play.
Bonus step – download an episode using an app
Each app is different but most apps allow you to download – look for an icon beside each episode
Listen to the podcast using a web browser
Open your web browser (it should be already open if you’re viewing this webpage)
Type in the following address https://www.pondercast.ca/listen/ OR follow this link
Select an episode
Press the black triangle and the episode will play, voilà!
