Moon Merge
This episode is a live recording of Moon Merge at The Bentway in Toronto on September 14th - the night of the full Harvest Moon.
Moon Merge was created by me and The Bentway, because we wanted Toronto to experience Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon - an exact replica of the moon, 7 metres in diameter, lit from within.
It was hung underneath the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto. The idea of presenting Pondercast with this moon as the backdrop, sent ME to the moon.

As you can see we were joined by Choir!Choir!Choir!, Bernice, and a silent disco from Rich Aucoin. So it was a perfect night to wax on about the moon. Which we did for about 8,000 people. Joining Joshua Van Tassel and myself on stage was Michael Eckert on pedal steel guitar. They stirred up a mesmerizing musical atmosphere for us all.
Moon Merge will take you to the moon and back - as we contemplate how we experience nature living in a big city -and up on our planetary satellite.
Thanks to Michael Eckert and The Bentway. This was an extraordinary experience for Pondercast - we hope that you can feel that on this episode.
